Landscape watercolor depicting a field of yellow mustard made into a large shareable card that fits in a long 9-1/2" x 4" envelope.
The back reveals the whole art design when opened to its full size of 8" x 9-1/4".
This card is blank inside for a personal note or greeting. Scripture reference to a mustard seed is written on the back: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.” Matthew 13:31-32.
Note about the painting: This watercolor painting was inspired by the stunning mustard fields that grow in my area. I taught a 7th grade class to watercolor this image, at a local Christian school, accompanied by the scripture verse above.
